Back to School Granola Bars

Simple pantry staples come together to form delicious homemade granola bars.

Ingredients
  

  • avocado oil spray
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. mixed fruit preserves
  • 4 cups pre-made granola
  • 3 cups rolled old-fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup hemp hearts optional
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Line 9x13 pan with cooking spray, parchement, then another spray of cooking spray.
  • In a small saucepan warm peanut butter, honey, molasses, jam, and brown sugar until sugar has melted and peanut butter has thinned.
  • Mix dry ingredients in big bowl. Pour liquid on top and stir to coat the oats.
  • When everything is equally coated, spread the mixture into the pan. Press mixture down with a rubber spatula.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool completely then cut and enjoy!
